three sixty five

One year ago on January 19, this sweet baby boy said 'what's up' to the world. This past Saturday my amazing best friend/cousin threw him a sweet party to celebrate.
A little pre-party action with the comare and combare! Crosby is so lucky to have two hogs-of-godparents who can barely stand to put him down [unless of course he wants to walk to me, then I'll put him down].
And then Mama Nonna showed up... she's sort of a hog too. Consider us like three hogs. Fighting over one very cute baby. It's quite entertaining to watch.

C did an awesome job with the decor. I love the birch and plaid. The centerpiece she made for the dining room table was so rustic!
He likes to show me his teeth.
A special vegan, gluten free cake - just for our little man's birthday!
Here's C just hangin' with Auntie H and Nonna. Ya know, being a good boy and hydrating.
A hot cocoa and coffee bar with all the fixings: cinnabun marshmallows, peppermint sticks, cool whip, etc.
He was amazed by the masses of people singing Happy Birthday to him. Don't get me wrong, the kid is no stranger to singing [mama's got a great voice] but 30+ people in your house is enough to scare anyone.

And when he finally warmed up to the cake, it was all hands on deck...
The presents were plentiful. And to my surprise, baby boy stayed attentive the entire time. Present opening went something like this: mama would open the gift, hand it to baby, baby would hug it, and then go after either the bow, the paper or the box.

What a sweet, sweet boy?
A new bath toy! "Just what I always wanted!"
A Mickey Clubhouse book from Auntie H! Homeboy loves Mickey. I swear they must put kiddie crack in the tv. He literally wouldn't take his eyes off the tv if the room was on fire. And those songs... so catchy I can't stand it.

"Hot dog, hot dog, hot diggity dog!"
A baby guitar from zia!
 Cars + trucks for days!

Happy, happy birthday baby C! Zia loves you so much! Now stop getting so big, so fast! Before I know it you'll be driving, dating and drinking beers!
